What to see at the Louvre Abu Dhabi

The Great Dome is the museum’s most prominent architectural feature, consisting of 7,850 aluminium stars that create a “rain of light” effect on the plazas below. This area includes the museum’s waterfront promenade and outdoor seating.

The Permanent Collection is arranged chronologically rather than by geography, displaying works from different civilisations side-by-side. Notable pieces on display include Leonardo da Vinci’s La Belle Ferronnière and Vincent van Gogh’s Self-Portrait.

The Children’s Museum is a dedicated three-storey space with interactive exhibitions designed for guests aged 6 to 12. It focuses on teaching art appreciation through hands-on activities and digital displays.
