Find the best day to visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Use my guide to avoid crowds, minimize queue times, and get the most from your day at the theme park.
Days to avoid at Ferrari World
Ferrari World, a vast indoor theme park, is one of the top attractions in Abu Dhabi. It is home to the Formula Rossa – the world’s fastest rollercoaster, plus plenty of other rides that are frankly nowhere near as good.
Most people going on holiday to Abu Dhabi are going to at least consider a trip to Ferrari World, but there are certain days you should avoid.
The longest queues at Ferrari World
Abu Dhabi isn’t just a tourist destination, of course. People live there, too, and logically locals have more leisure time at the weekend. Therefore, Ferrari World is busier at the weekend, and queues for the rides are longer.
The weekend in Abu Dhabi
However, before booking your Ferrari World tickets, it’s worth remembering which days are weekend days in Abu Dhabi. While in Europe and North America, Saturday and Sunday in the weekend, Abu Dhabi works to a different system.
In Abu Dhabi, the weekend is Friday and Saturday. So, if you go to Ferrari World, Fridays can be a lot busier than you may expect, and Sundays can be a lot quieter.
Given that Sunday is a day that a lot of leisure travellers will fly out, and that few people will go to a theme park before a flight, Sunday is a surprisingly good day to visit Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi.
