Steamtown National Historic Site opening hours
The attraction is open daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm during the peak season. This summer season runs from early May until mid-November.
During the winter season, spanning from mid-November to early May, the site operates from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm from Wednesday to Sunday. The site is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during winter. The Information Kiosk closes exactly one hour before the park shuts year-round.

General admission tickets to enter the park grounds, visitor centre, and museums are completely free for all visitors. However, tickets are required for the seasonal train rides. Short excursions cost $6.00 for adults and children over five, and $1.00 for children aged five and under.
