This heritage-listed strangler fig tree is most notable for its extensive system of aerial roots, which drop 15 metres towards the forest floor.

The Curtain Fig Tree is in Curtain Fig Tree National Park, Queensland. The nearest town is Yungaburra in the Atherton Tableland.
From Yungaburra, the Curtain Fig Tree is a 2.5km drive, largely along Curtain Fig Tree Road.
