How to get to the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk

The park is on top of the Illawarra Escarpment, about two hours’ scenic drive south of Sydney. There is no direct public transport. From the Southern Highlands, the drive from Robertson takes 15 minutes via Jamberoo Mountain Road. From Kiama, it takes 35 minutes via Jamberoo, about 15 minutes past Minnamurra Rainforest.

From Sydney, drive down the Hume Highway and take the Bowral turn-off through the Southern Highlands to Robertson. Or take the Grand Pacific Drive and the Illawarra Highway over Macquarie Pass. Turn onto Jamberoo Mountain Road at the Robertson Pie Shop, drive 10 kilometres and turn left onto Knights Hill Road.
