General admission is an all-day ticket. It covers the mazes, gardens, tube slides, canopy walk, Sky Scramble, brain teaser puzzles, the sculpture trail and the MisAdventure Voyage playground. Tree Surfing is a separate session that includes general admission.

Enchanted Adventure opens seven days a week, except Christmas Day. Weekday and weekend hours are the same. Hours change by season.

How to get to Enchanted Adventure

The park is on Purves Road at Arthurs Seat, with entrances at 55 Purves Road (Gate 55) and 21 Purves Road (Gate 21). By car from Melbourne, take EastLink and Peninsula Link, then leave at the Arthurs Seat exit and follow Purves Road. The drive takes roughly an hour. Gate 55 is beside the Balcony Café.

Parking at Enchanted Adventure

Free parking is available at both entry gates. The car park at Gate 55 is asphalt, and the Gate 21 car park is dirt gravel. Depending on visitor numbers, one or both car parks may be open. Limited wheelchair-friendly bays are closest to the ticketing booth.

How long to spend at Enchanted Adventure

Allow two to three hours to explore the ground activities. The Garden and Art Trail alone takes one to 1.5 hours. A Grand Tree Surfing session lasts two hours, so add that to your day.

Accessibility at Enchanted Adventure

The park is on a steep hillside, and manual wheelchair users will find it hard to get around without help. The Canopy Walk is wheelchair and pram friendly, and it suits visitors who cannot join the other activities. The Balcony Café at 55 Purves Road is reached by a ramp.

Assistance dogs must be harnessed or leashed at all times. No other pets are allowed. Tree Surfing is not suitable for pregnant visitors or people with heart conditions, high blood pressure or knee, ankle and back problems.

What to see at Enchanted Adventure

The mazes. The Original Hedge Maze has a Japanese garden at its centre. The Turf Maze has a giant topiary Loch Ness Monster nicknamed Nessie, and the Children’s Maze has life-sized Snakes & Ladders.

The viewing platform. A boardwalk circles the Enchanted Lake to the newest hedge maze. From the platform, you can call out directions to anyone lost in the maze below.

The Tube Slides. Six Straight Giants, one Big Twister and a kids-only slide run down the slope on bright tubes. Children under 5 must ride with an adult.

The Canopy Walk and Sky Scramble. The Canopy Walk is a series of gently swinging bridges among the treetops. The Sky Scramble is a wooden aerial playground up to 10 metres high for children under 135 centimetres.

Tree Surfing. The Grand course has over 50 aerial obstacles on five levels and finishes each level with a zipline. Nippers Tree Surfing gives children aged 4 to 12 three levels of climbing and swinging.

The Garden and Art Trail. More than 30 sculptures and over 20 themed gardens line the trail, including a Conifer Garden with over 100 varieties. Look for timber carvings by the artist Ken Blum.

The MisAdventure Voyage and brain teasers. A steampunk-style shipwreck playground uses a salvaged 1800s ship. Giant puzzles test adults and children alike.
