All prices are subject to tax and a $2 processing fee per ticket. New York City residents get free entry every Thursday, booked online with proof of ID from an eligible zip code (up to four tickets per transaction). Active and retired U.S. military receive a reduced rate, though this discount is only available by phone or in person, not online. A maximum of 14 tickets can be purchased per online transaction; groups of 15 or more need a separate group booking, made at least three days in advance. By subway, take the 7 train to 34th Street–Hudson Yards, one stop from Times Square, or the A, C, E, 1, 2, or 3 train to 34th Street–Penn Station, about two blocks away. By rail, Amtrak, the Long Island Rail Road, New Jersey Transit, and PATH all serve Penn Station. By bus, routes M4, M5, M6, M7, M34, and Q42 stop nearby, along with the West Side Highway. By ferry, the Midtown Ferry Terminal at West 39th Street is a short walk away. By bike, Hudson River Park offers the best approach, with the nearest Citi Bike station at West 34th Street and 11th Avenue. By car, parking is available at 10 Hudson Yards, Abingdon House, and One Hudson Yards, all along West 30th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues.

Parking is available at 10 Hudson Yards, Abingdon House, and One Hudson Yards, all along West 30th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues; Hudson Yards does not offer free on-site parking.
How long to spend at Vessel
There’s no fixed time limit on a visit, though the official site recommends allowing about 30 minutes. During especially busy periods, Vessel reserves the right to impose time limits to manage crowds.
Accessibility at Vessel
Vessel offers an ADA-compliant elevator, with priority access every 15 minutes to floor levels 5, 7, and 8 for visitors with disabilities. If priority tickets are sold out, a stand-by line is available, with priority given to guests who cannot use stairs; wait times in this line can be extensive.

At the base, the full 360-degree path remains open, letting visitors circle the lowest levels freely. Above level 2, only the sections retrofitted with floor-to-ceiling steel mesh barriers are accessible, including half the traversable area on the upper floors and a single platform at the very top; the rest of the top level remains closed. These permanent safety measures were installed for Vessel’s October 2024 reopening, following a period of closure after several visitor deaths in its first years.
