Aquashow Park is an outdoor water park and year-round indoor water park located at Volta do Parque in Quarteira, in the eastern Algarve, Portugal, also operating a hotel on the same site. This guide covers opening hours and season dates, ticket prices, how to get there, parking, accessibility, attractions, and practical tips for planning your visit.
Last updated: April 2026. Two facts that most guides currently get wrong: first, the outdoor water park opens on 1 May 2026 — not in April. Visitors arriving before that date will find the outdoor park closed. Second, the outdoor season ends on 8 September 2026, not at the end of September as many guides suggest. The adult high season gate price is €38, which is higher than most third-party sites currently show. Additionally, sun loungers in the outdoor park are free — no hire charge applies.

How long to spend at Aquashow Park
Aquashow Park is a full-day attraction. With over 20 outdoor attractions, pools, shows, and food outlets, most visitors spend six to eight hours. Accessibility at Aquashow Park
Aquashow Park has partial accessibility for visitors with reduced mobility. In the outdoor park, some attractions are accessible to wheelchairs and strollers, particularly the pool areas: the wave pool, swimming pool, tropical pool, and lazy river. Wheelchair access is not available to the slide towers. For mechanical rides such as the roller coaster, Air Race, and Top Swing, a companion must be present to assist. Visitors with a visual impairment cannot use certain slides including the Wild Snake, White Fall, Free Fall, Speed Race, Twin Space Shuttle, and Thunder Cruise. Pregnant women may access the swimming pool, lazy river, and tropical pool. They are not permitted on most slides.
In the indoor park, wheelchair access exists to pool areas, the playground, bar, and WCs, but not to the slide tower.
